At JuegosLibres.net, an argentinian blog about free games. Then I forgot about it, then wikipedia and (i forgot again) in the ubuntu repos looking for linux games

I just found out about this game through Wikipedia when I was searching for a new turn based strategy game to play. I have been playing stuff like Final Fantasy tactics, and was wondering what sort of games might exists for the PC. I googled turn based strategy, and wikipedia came up and there was The Battle For Wesnoth listed on the wikipedia page.

Kudo's by the way to all the people that have contributed to the art and music. I have only started playing the game and I am already surprised by how awesome the game looks and plays. Really good job.

Well, I just thought I would say that, and now I am off to give this game a try.

I've known about Wesnoth for years, but only recently registered/became interested in the game. I selected "other" because I've seen or heard of Wesnoth through many different online sources over the years. I spend a lot of time browsing indie gaming blogs, sites and forums, and all of them mention Wesnoth at some point or another.

on apple.com....I found it looking for some MMORPG (I didn´ know what meant the MMO part on that time but the RPG) and as Im fan of RPG´s i was looking for some.......and there was some demo of I dont remember the name down of wesnoth, when I was ready to download the demo... I miss clicked on wesnoth....and as Im too L.A.Z.Y. to press the back button (belive me, Im just tooo lazy)...I just thought...What The Heck, Why Not....and download it...then I got frustrated cause I couldn´t pass the first scenario of Son Of Black Eye...and as Im 24/7 on for challenges (even from AIs) I kept playing until I finally (no, I didn´t ended the campaing) pass the first esceneario and yelled to the PC "HA, IN YOUR FACE"......thats when i realized that this game its so fun that I had playing around 3 hours and I didn't noticed that............. that was around 4-5 years ago now....LOL
