That is a reason important enough. Good to know.

Shadowmaster, why you do this to us?
I'm just... a guy...
I'm back for now, I might get started on some work again.

I know i'm a little late to the thread but... ONLY THREE FACTIONS?

I would root for just the opposite, it is the dream of mine to one day choose from over 100 factions! Each one balanced, and some more balanced than others! :eng:

Have a look at Ageless Era. There're only 82 factions and far from balanced, but it's something :)

I think the main reason is that UtBS is pretty similar to IftU in various aspects (protagonists, setting, some plot elements), and shadowmaster (and the others) didn't want to have two similar campaigns in mainline.

No, the main reason is that IftU sucks, which makes it automatically ineligible for inclusion in anything where I might be able to influence the general maintainers’ decisions.

I am not the maintainer, so I obviously will not consider them. That would be Espreon’s call.

Ok. I will go seek for him. However you AtS have many kinds of weakness just like IftU, say the long-lasting finale, share little difference. Don't you think so?

I think that there is a topic for AtS in Scenario & Campaign Development—linked in my signature as well—which would be better suited for discussing this tangent.

Not that I understood what you meant anyway.

If you think I speak alien language, ok...fine.
My last question for today is: I know exactly that you are online, but why are you invisible?

Because it’s an option to which users have always had access; an option that I enabled on my account in particular for personal reasons.

This is getting awkward.

And Off-Topic. Please come back to the actual topic of the thread (which is not discussing the quality of IftU/AtS or forum mechanics), or let it rest in peace.
