strange unused maps !!!

hi guys...am new here but not to wesnoth...i been playing wesnoth for 2 years or so..
few days back i was exploring its files in wesnoth folder and i found that there were 3
'UNUSED' scenarios in the campaign 'the south guard'...if u guys want their names i wil post
them here..i hav a very old version of wesnoth. can u guys help me with this..why do wesnoth
people make scenarios if they dont use them???

Maybe because you're using an OLD version? Get a new version and check there.

Not in 1.9, I just checked.

Sure you're not confused about the different branches? There are alternate scenarios based on choices you make.

We know of the existence of a few unused maps in TSG and they have been deleted since then.

TSG doesn't need more scenarios at the moment either, for either branch.

well i don't know but i have 3 versions of wesnoth, 1.8,1.6 & that old version ,on my pc..
and i checked with all of them but didn't find those maps on the other 2..
there names were:- Snowy mountain, between fire and sword & finding the elves.

second post: ohh... and by the way i hav finished TSG campaign on all of the versions..FYI!

This problem is solved in 1.9
So when 1.10 comes out the mystery maps won't be there for you.

No, the problem is solved in 1.4 or 1.6 minimum. The commit removing those occurred on February 14th, 2008.
