Legend of Wesmere question

Post by Gaaren »

Hey all!

I've decided I want to try to complete all the main campaigns. So far I've only done 5, so there's many left.
In the description for Legend of Wesmere it says it has 17 playable scenarios - does that mean once I've played the 17 scenarios I can't continue because they're not playable (finnished?)?

Thanks in advance

No, that means that some scenarios are story-only - you just read the text and learn how the story develops, without doing anything. The campaign is complete.

Aha, I see. Then I'll do that campaign after my current one.

Thanks!

Yeah, nothing that ships with the game isn't complete. It's part of the Policy for adding campaigns to mainline

So they can't be added to the main campaigns without being finnished, that's you mean?

Yep. If the campaign isn't finished, it's not allowed to be part of the game. (Excluding add-ons)

I see, thanks!

Another question which has nothing to do with the subject really, but I don't want to make a new thread; is there a way to tell which add-ons that are finnished?

Good add-ons would usually tell you in the description how much they're finished.

Look at the version numbers, or the descriptions. If the version number is or over 1.0, then it's complete. As in all scenarios are done. You can also check the forum topic for it.

Same here. (well, in the summer, that is)
I check the wesnoth forums at least once an hour, when I'm at home.
