How does Poison work? Can it kill a hero, effectively shortening the time limit on a scenario?
Poison does eight damage for each turn you are poisoned.
Moving to a village or next to a friendly unit with the 'cures' ability will cure poison at the beginning of your next turn; you will not heal any hitpoints that turn.
You can never die directly from poison, it will get you down to 1 hitpoint and then do no further damage.
