It was a long campaign, but the -10 I singlehandedly delivered to the Elvish Captain finally paid off!!!

Who cares? For the most part, Drake leaders are very powerful, coming from a race of powerful (albeit vulnerable) individuals. They'd win regardless of graphics.

It's not the inevitable if we have a comeback rally. I still think leadership is pretty pointless on actual leader units in non-campaigns, and the Drake Warrior at the very least is better than Drake Flare. Shows you how useless popularity contests are, eh?

Meh, I don't get why everyone seems to love drakes so much (though I have a fondness for Saurians, just not as leaders). Drakes are often fast and powerful, but they also have vulnerabilities to the two cheapest types of level one units-spears and bows. That counts rather heavily against them in my book. Also lawful, which means you really have to watch time of day, while with Neutral elves that is perhaps less critical.JW wrote:Vendanna wrote:* Drake Flare 9 (+1)

Still, all those points I put in to the Captain clearly paid off somewhat, in that it beat every non-Drake leader.
