Hurt and Heal - Major campaign protagonists
So yes, we've done this before. Normal rules. +1/-1 or -2, at least 22 hours between posts.
I would, however, prefer to instate a rule that you have to give a reason why you're voting up/down a particular person. Not only does it make it less annoying to people who disagree with you, but it's also valuable feedback for the writers and developers. If you've already voted someone up/down again, there's no need to provide another reason, but it's still rather annoying when people are like OMG POISON SUX and provide no justification. :/ This is more of a recommendation than a rule; if you really can't think of anything, say "I can't think of anything" or "I've/someone else has already talked about this" (this is so we know people who leave their messages completely blank haven't read this).

+1 to Thursagan since he's awesome. He's like the Chuck Norris of dwarves. He's also one of the few non-humans that can get a damage rate anywhere near 14-4 (magical). And the only other one is Mal Keshar, and unless you cheat or are really really good, the game's over before he becomes an ancient lich, anyway. And while Rignur and Durstorn are arguing over what to do with the sceptre, Thursagan is just sitting back, being cool, and being like, "I don't care, all I did was make the thing in the first place." People sang stories about him!
-1 to Kaleh because he's just whiny and emo for most of UtBS. I don't care what you think of your deity, Kaleh! >:(

Tragic heroes like Mal Keshar are the best in campaigns. You get to see their ascent towards tremendous power and, consequently, their unpreventable descent towards darkness. I really liked his realism, in terms of how his melee skills with a sword slowly rotted from L2 to L3 through rusting while his dark magic flourished. He had no objections to using corpses in order to save lives which displayed a practical sense of mind at first that pervaded through the popular notion of "evil necromancy." He originally chose a path for the sake of justice and protecting his village from being destroyed by Orcs. It was unfortunate how his only ally was a traitor who used Mal Keshar as a tool. He made a final last charge into the Orcish heart after his master's death and was almost killed by it. He then used his near-death state to destroy all remnants of his former self and become a lich in the process. How beastly is that?
Konrad, on the other hand, is the stereotypical, flat, and boring hero whose personality spontaneously matures for the sake of the plot, rather than vice versa. x3
Was leaving Tallin out on purpose by the way? That guy is easily better than most of these pretenders.

My favorites would probably be Mal Keshar, Prince Haldric and Tallin. But I won't vote them up now because I want Konrad gone.
And if we can count #2s like Thursagan and Li'Sar in, then Gerrick, Cleodil, Angarthing, and Lady Jessica/Jessene should be in here too. Lady Jessica and Angarthing are both "more awesome" than Li'sar IMO.
And, perhaps, allies-turned-villains like Landar and Darken Volk could be in here too.

It's not so much that they're "too awesome", but that they're more awesome than the main characters. Anyway, this is "Major campaign protagonists", so they need to be heroes by the end of the story (i.e. how they'll be remembered - well, someone like how they'll be remembered; please don't nitpick on Mal Keshar - how we remember them, then). Baldras is a great character, in my opinion. The story is never ridiculously forced, and although he's a flawed hero, he lives by his own morals, and can never be cast into the same evil camp as people like Darken Volk. I like Malin too, but Baldras is grounded in a way Malin, with his magical ancient-lich ending can never be.
Li'sar, on the other hand, appears to be a conniving and petty female dog the whole way through HttT.

:[ Gruu is a flat character with no depth other than "LOL I LIKE KILLING PEOPLE". He's SotBE's comic relief character, except his jokes aren't even funny most of the time. (With the exception of TSoF, whose comic relief characters have plenty of depth, because it has excellent writing through and through)
(Edit: Except for that Alanin guy. That Alanin guy in TSoF was pretty flat.)
