Ideed is an awesome and keeps you hooked, the one who started with this is Dave, but there's a lot of developers investing their time in this game, art contributors, WML enhacers(i think is spelled this way) music creators, there's also feedback, programers and so.

Really the thanks should go for all those...

I unite to the thankyou message...

Indeed it is. All the developers of this game, everyone who ever worked on it, are altruists in that no one is paying them for their effort. They shall be remembered as martyrs, they who created this beacon of simplicity and elegance, a shining island in a stormy sea of overpriced crap. Fare them well...

Yes, I buy a decent amount of games, but (especially with new ones), the appeal seems to be limited to a month or two at most. Yes, they're fancy in graphics and cinematic-presentation these days, but they just don't have the draw of Wesnoth.

This is the game I've played spanning the most number of years. Warcraft 3 is a close second.
Thanks everyone for contributing to this game so I can get so much fun out of it over the years. :)

I've played a good 5 Years, and I hope to continue playing for long after I'm old and out of college. (that being my current idea of "old")

Thanks, Wesnoth. For keepin' me coming back.
