Delay Shroud Updates - Default Setting

DSU should be the default setting. Misclick is a pain. Especially when you misclick trying to turn it on. Is there a good reason it isn't the default setting that I'm just missing?

Because more users leave it off then click it on?

And if it defaulted to on more users would leave it on that turn it off. That's just natural bias towards inaction.

Are there negative consequences to having it on and wanting it off, but failing to turn it off? Anyway, there's currently a suggestion open to make the setting persistent, which seems to me a better solution than changing the default setting.

On a similar note, has anyone else noticed it turning itself off repeatedly during a game? This keeps happening to me

I think there is a shortcut for it that you might be accidentally hitting, IIRC.

How is that a good reason? They can turn it off if they dont like it. If they misclick it doesnt jack up their game to do so. Current setting can and frequently does for me.

How is that a reason? You can turn it on if you misclick. Making an option for the setting to be persistent would make more sense then changing the default setting. Current setting can and frequently does cause little problem for me.

Also, using the hotkey would avoid a misclick.

That works too. All I know is that as it stand it drives me nuts.
