Need help with multiplayer

Need help with multiplayer
I just for the first time today tried multiplayer, but whenever I attempt to join a game it gives me a game error telling me that their are unknown units. Is there a resource pack that I need?

This is how it works.
Wesnoth has variouse Eras, many of these Eras do not come with the game, and if you don't download them off the download server then you won't have those unit files specific to that era.
Most games use the default eras, you don't need to download anything for this.
The era each game is being played in is marked on the game info. If you see unknown era, then you don't have that era. Most game names will also mention that you need alternate eras if you do.
