Is there something like evil dwarfes in Wesnoth? If, what era?

Are you saying that evil dwarves would fight in some way fundamentally different from the way good dwarves fight? Different enough to require a whole new faction?

I think they are called Duergar, them evil Dwarves, at least in Baldur's Gate.

Duergar Jerk

duergar - darkdwarves - are just not always evil. they have just an other social life and live under the surface. not evil - just chaotic ;)

I think the replies to this thread make it fairly obvious that there is not, at least not in the sense you mean.

IIRC, (A)D&D has Hill Dwarves, Mountain Dwarves etc. that live where the names would suggest.

D&D has a knack for oversimplifying things...

yeah, because the fact that dwarves are greedy, selfish, violent, and stubborn doesn't make them bad, only human, and humans aren't bad...
