439. The horseman in the Lavinian Legion is black because you made sure everyone knew that the Romans had Numidian cavalry on their side when they defeated Hannibal in the Battle of Zama, even though Numidia had traditionally been a Carthaginian ally.

442. You're playing some emulated SNES game, and after seeing some animation with a low frame count for the N^36 time, you have a hankering to draw some additional frames for it.
Which of course you can't, because it's not exactly open source.
It's funny, I never got these kinds of impulses before I joined wesnoth; by the same token these things did not individually stick out so much; a whole game with generally lower frame counts, across the board, would feel cheaper and clunkier than one with smoother animation, but it would have been hard to pin down the precise problem.
It might be a fun thing to implement special "achievements" for odd styles of play; for example, playing through a campaign while recruiting nothing but mages.
In a campaign, that could be easily implemented through WML, and could unlock special content. I wouldn't suggest trying to implement this in multiplayer, because that (in the interests of fairness) could not have any effect on the game, and since we don't keep any other persistent stats (such as ranking) it would require code changes to store this persistent stat.
If you like this, talk to someone like Mythological/Zookeeper, and they can instruct you on how you could write these - if you wrote one, there's a decent chance we'd add it in (a very good chance if Mythological/Zookeeper likes the idea).

Actually, we could implement that kinda stuff on wesnoth, as it is.St Stux wrote:441. You want Wesnoth to come out for the 360 so you can unlock the achivement."Insomniac"(Played for 400 hours straight without losing a match.)
