"Son of the Black Eye" is a campaign where you play orcs.
For MP play, Era of Myths includes various new factions, none of which are human or elven. Some time soon (I hope), my Talamh era will be on the server too. To start with, there'll only be two factions included, but I plan to keep adding as many as I can in new updates, until it becomes too big to be practical.

You bought a mask - I put it on.
You never thought to ask me if I wear it when you're gone.

"Sceptre of Fire", you play as a Dwarvish Fighter->Dwarvish Steelclad->Dwarvish Lord.

If you download the Imperial Era, you can play as Lavinians (=Roman Empire), Marauders (=1/2 viking, 1/2 germanic tribes), Sidhe Elves, and several more... there are only two IE campaigns written so far, but more are on the way.
Basically - there are a bunch of campaigns out there.

Not really. They were Nordic. Those aren't really the same things.player1 wrote:The vikings were germanic tribes

Yes and no. They were (and are) of the same bloodline, and had many common myths and cultural traits, and spoke languages that were (and to some degree still are) fairly similar. The difference is that we usually associate the term "Germanic Tribes" with the tribes that invaded the Roman Empire and not with the seafarers/traders/pirates who terrorized Europe and the North Atlantic several centuries after the Western Roman Empire fell.turin wrote:[OT]:? I think that there used to be Son of the Black eye, and that undead campaign(unfinished) where you're a dark adept, seeking power... But they were taken away for a reason, prolly because they're unfinished - so we have to wait for a campaign that deserves being put in mainline, and is done, I guess.
I wonder then why did the developers put them in mainline in the first place. Perhaps they were expecting to have those campaigns finished for BfW 1.0?Konrad II wrote:[...]But they were taken away for a reason, prolly because they're unfinished[...]
