Theoretically, love is great
but it is a little bit different in practice.

It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

There wasn't room for him. He does more damage in both ranges than any of the units already there, anyway. (except the Goblin Spearman... but the gobbo is DEFINITELY wimpier than the footpad.)zookeeper wrote:Where the heck is footpad?Elvish Pillager wrote:The Wimps:

I love this type of group customization and always like to try and to find the most efficient team that I can. My ideal team would be something that would be flexible and have every unit serving a specific purpose. Due to the gold confines, I found it quite difficult to fit everything I wanted into the faction. However, despite this difficulty I was able to come up with something I think I like.
Team Combo (Overview):
Dwarvish Fighter; 16 gold (Blade+ Impact; Melee: Nice Movetype: Good Resist Tank)
Orcish Archer; 14 gold (Fire + Pierce; Ranged; Decent Village Defense: Cheapish)
Saurian Agaur A.K.A. Saurian Tribalist 16 gold (Cold Magical; Ranged: Healing)
Gryphon Rider 24 Gold (Flight: Big Damage: 8 base Move)
Damage Type Total: 5/6
Chaotic/Netural/Lawful Ratio 2:2:0
Total cost; 70 gold, exactly.
And before anybody asks why there aren't any Troll Whelps, I used Dwarvish Fighters instead for three reasons:
1. ~ There is no 3- gold, blade damage unit (not even a level zero). This means fitting in both a Troll Whelp's impact damage and another unit's blade damage would be expensive enough to push me over the 70 gold limit.
2. ~ The Dwarvish Fighter has equal or better stats all 'round in move, defense and resist.
3 ~ Healing + Regeneration is near redundent and they don't stack anyway. Therefore, since I already have healing, I don't need regeneration.
Also, on the note of killer combinations. . . The Great War Era . . . Its Ulfs and Shamen, sock, awe, inspire and scare me. A Shaman slowing a unit for an Ulf to Beserker Frenzy it is a horrible sight to behold. This gold limit may properly nerf it though, as even being able to utilize it at all takes away 50% of your gold allotment right there. That might be a lot of space for a half decent army though for all I know.

Analysis so far:
- Ulf/Shaman is an awesome combo.
- Dwarf Fighter is a prime pick.
- Everyone likes Dark Adepts.
Therefore:
Ulf; it pwns the Dark Adepts that everyone likes.
Shaman; it pwns with the Ulf.
Dwarf Fighter; it pwns in general.
Ghost; it pwns the enemy Ulfs and has more mobility than their Shamans (so it counters the combo.) Plus it gets great healing from the Shaman.
It adds up to exactly 70 gold.
Why isn't everyone using this army?
