It went wild. That's why I executed it. My way of 'locking' a thread that's outside of my jurisdiction. No one took the hint.

Searching the 'net comes up with a few definitions for "Wose": 1. a tribe of men from the works of Tolkien. 2. A mythical beast similar to a sasquatch. 3.A middle-english term meaning ooze (and can be used as an insult much as "you slime!" would be).

However, since none of these definitions refer to a race of treemen we can't assume the same pluralisation (which varies between the different meanings anyway).

Wearing my serious hat for a moment, I believe the best suggestion to date has been "Woses" amongst commoners and "Wose" amongst the more sophisticated.

You people have actually managed to extend a discussion on the correct plural for "wose" for four whole godamn pages.
I am ashamed to be associated in any way with this forum.
