I think this is sort of possible with standard ancient lich as well. Once I bunkered down in a mushroom with Keshar and the trolls did not want to attack me, i had to kill them one by one.

I don't have time to test this right now, but it likely means that the AI side's aggression aspect should be set to a higher value.
