(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.9.8, top difficulty, 166 gp, no reloads

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
"5". It actually looks similar to the previous map, just the units are a bit stronger.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
clear

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
nice, but this "beware!" phrase (about orcs' night attack) looks not appropriate, it makes me feel like I face fearsome and deadly creatures I know little about, which is not true...
The tone should be like we are calmly expecting these orcs will behave as usual. So this should sound not like "Beware! They are going to fk us soon!" but like "All right, the night comes, they will attack us soon. Everyone, prepare for battle."

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
can't say I had a particular "challenge"

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
again, I like it a lot. But I tend to enjoy smallish maps like this more than big army-vs-army scenarios.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
from the tactics perspective, another almost-ideal map

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
no

Normal 1.10.2
Difficulty: 4
Objectives: 100% clear
Storyline: Decent, it seemed like just a basic background for the recruitable archers... which is weird because the spearmen and horsemen don't get one. :lol2:
Challenges: Even though the AI did warn me about attacking at night, i still put myself in a position to fight. The brunt of the attack was not really something i feared, because i had good defense in a village and some trees, it was worth taking some extra damage to keep a village and finish a turn earlier.
Fun: 7
Changes: none
Restarting: none
Fate is against me.

Great Mage (Difficult), 1.10.3, 120 gold. With the free units at start this is quite doable with minimal gold. Evade enemy at night, and hit hard at the dawn of the second day and during the day, when his ToD returns he hasn't enough units left to do damage. Levelled many mages (Delfador + 3 other), but managed to lose two horsemen (as I didn't kill archers fast enough).
I am a Saurian Skirmisher: I'm a real pest, especially at night.

(1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?
1.10.3 hard (Great Mage - Difficult)
127 gold

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
4 or 5

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Clear.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Carefully leveling my units. I took my time and finished on turn 20 to get the most out of it. The biggest challenge was to crush the first wave without healer support.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
It's okay. 6/10

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
No idea.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
No.

1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?
1.10.7 - Medium

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
4 - Nothing special. You only have to watch out for the wolves as they can reach and kill wounded units quickly.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Very clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Average.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Slowly moving forward and watch out to not overextend during the night.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
6

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Don't know. It's just a simple 1v1.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
I reloaded the final turn twice because I wanted the XP for killing the leader to go to a leveling up mage and not to the already leveled up Delfador (but that was just some RNG and preference ;) ).

Clear

Clear, simple
Content Feedback wrote:(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Challenges, what challenges? Horsemen are fast enough to arrive near the enemy when the number of summoned enemy units is still small, making it easy to start killing enemy units "as they are summoned".

4
Content Feedback wrote:(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Biggest keep to the enemy orc, so he gets to deploy is army more quickly.

No

1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?

1.10, 1.12 and 1.14 all difficulty levels

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

3. It's one of the easiest scenarios in the campaign for me.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

Very clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

It was okay.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

It's said that Elves never leave the forest, but I think it's also true that Orcs stick to rough terrain. No matter how I play this scenario the fight will invariably reach its conclusion in the mountains south east of the Orcish keep. There's no issues with non-mounted units. But the challenges are for me what happens on the edges of the battle. Horsemen are vulnerable to melee focussed Orcs. So it's getting horsemen through the northern villages without getting trapped by wolf riders or getting Orcs to come south into terrain favourable for horsemen.

I also dislike using horsemen for capturing villages because it's an expensive way of getting villages. (I feel similar about using Gryphon Riders). But in this scenario you have no other option.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

6. It's actually quite fun figuring out where to centre your battle and working out a strategy.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

None that I can think of. I actually like the variable nature of the whole campaign and how it's central to other campaigns.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?

No.

(9) If you know a bit of the Wesnoth Markup Language - do you think that the WML of this scenario is clear and well commented? If not which part would you like to be documented better?

N/A.

1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?

Difficult

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

3

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?

Clear

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?

Clear, averagely interesting

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

Being careful not to lose units at night. If you just fight at day it's easy.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

4. Yet another kill-a-bunch-of-orcs mission. Archers make it a bit more challenging to use horsemen

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

Make it harder. Let the AI focus on village pillaging more.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?

No
