Download the SVN from the trunk and compile it yourself.

It isn't hard, unless you're on a windows machine.

1.1 will be released on Christmas. You can wait. ;)

Although putting screenshots for a not-yet-released version on the home page makes little sense to me...

There is a little problem for most users, there will be no win binaries so fast.

What makes you think so?

All of the binaries are pretty random when looking at how fast they appear after the source is revealed...

In few last releases win binaries show late.

You should not forget that the release is only for the sources. The binarys are out once the packagers do have the time to do them. This means it can be shortly after the release or weeks after. Sometimes there even is no binary for a platform of one release because the packager simply has no time.
I don't consider it as a problem when some people, no matter which platform, do not have the binary right on the day of the release of the sources. You should consider it as a great service if the binary is for your platform is there within one day after the release of the sources.
