Wesnoth's stable binaries for linux as appImage?
are there any plans to release Battle for Wesnoth as appImage?
appImage is packaging format similar to flatpak except it also does not require installation and (typically) contains all its dependencies (except linux kernel and drivers) inside appimage file itself.

Re: Wesnoth's stable binaries for linux as appImage?
Personally I am ok with appimage, flatpak and what not, but I myself on my linux desktop
always compile from source. That's how I ended up having to fight boost a lot in the
past ... somehow boost is always the biggest troublemaker for me. The rest works
fine, SDL and what not. (I totally understand that not everyone has time, resources
or wants to compile from source. Totally understand that too! I download libreoffice
binaries for instance and use that, rather than compile the libreoffice suite from
source.)
