wesnoth on fedora 26
Hi, im recently update my fedora to version 26 and wesnoth auto upgrade to 1.13.8. Why the official repos in fedora 26 have the development version? I think it must be a mistake. All other OS still in stable version, the official webpage says 1.12 is the stable releace. And there is no people in the 1.13 server.
How can i back to the 1.12 version? i have to download and install files from f25? I try to do that but fail on libs dependencies. Try to send an email to fedora mantainer but i get an error from his mail server.
thanks

yum should be able to uninstall the beta-test version and install the stable version. I've not used Fedora in well over a decade so I don't recall but I'd expect you'll need to tell yum to NOT automatically upgrade to the testing version. I'd suggest also filing a complaint with Fedora about the issue.
I forked real life and now I'm getting merge conflicts.

Wesnoth also does not have any say as far as what version the different distros package - it's entirely up to them.

Re: wesnoth on fedora 26
The wiki is only stating what Fedora did. If you don't think they should have included the version that they did, you need to talk to them.linkerx wrote:https://wiki.wesnoth.org/WesnothBinariesLinux#Fedora
