I would just like to point out that when you join a game with the undead faction that no matter what leader you choose it sets you to the necromancer.
im sinning but im winning at the same time/took a couple shots from a coward tryin ta take mine/back in the hood wit a chopper an a tech nine... im doin 100 on the hi way/u doin the speed limit then get the f*ck outta my way...

Huh? I've played a game as the Boneshooter, and if you mean "joining a game in progress" then that's intentional that you can't pick your leader.

Don't worry, this is a known bug, and IIRC it's been fixed in 0.8.9 too.
