Wesnoth 1.1.14 (aka Wesnoth 1.2rc4)
Wesnoth 1.1.14 is out!
1.1.14 is our fourth (and hopefully last) release candidate for the forthcoming 1.2 release.
1.1.14 has several important bugfixes for the crashes we had in the last version, some updated translations and lots of new graphics, especially in the area of terrain transitions.
You can check details at the changelog.

What differences do you see in the changelog? I don't see any...
Gameplay06 will be included if it gets completed soon enough otherwise it goes into 1.2.1. Quite simple actually.

Ups, pasted a wrong link. Fixed it already.Chris NS wrote:I don't know what's happened to the changelog, but I can't follow it any more. Any chance of one in the previous format.
Oh, and is there any chance of including gameplay06 in the Wesnoth 1.2?
Regarding gameplay06: It won't be included before we have the okay from our musicians. So once it is completed it will be included but not before. We don't know if it will be ready before the release of 1.2.
I just download the latest version, since I'm on holidays, I play for about 5 minutes, and the server tells me of the new release. Perfect Timing.

I was playing Wesnoth 1.1.14 lite and loaded a game from 1.1.13 lite and it worked for a few turns but then froze up on me. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is the result of having loaded a game that used the old version of Blue Water Province, but I thought I should report it.lwa wrote:Mac OS X build, for ppc or intel Mac, and OS 10.3.9 and more.

no problem
Thanks for keeping us posted Yogi. I'll admit that I've been checking all day.

"I just started playing this game a few days ago, and I already see some balance issues."
I just downloaded the source and compiled it under Kubuntu. Will I be able to continue a saved game from the HttT campaign? I have a save from 1.1.13 and don't want to start over, when I load the campaign it says it's a different version, but proceeds. I just want to know if there will be problems in the future campaigns.

After doing some searches I found out that I should uninstall before updating (Windows, "unstable"). Not what I wanted, but OK. I guess for each version I'll have to decide whether to finish campaign before updating, or restart. I had just restarted HttH anyway, so no big deal and the crashes of 1.1.13 made it an easy decision. I decided to keep my saves and see if they worked anyway, if not no worries. But I noticed that the uninstall left my userdata where it was, including saves. Should I delete everything from here? I'm wondering in general and for this update, as I gather from the website that the "unstable" is fairly stable right now (which is why I went with it over 1.0.2).
My apologies if this should have been a new topic.
