(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
1.15.14, Commander (Challenging) (i.e. medium); blind playthrough.

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
3/10. Making use of a level 3 unit with leadership against a level 1 army gives a lot of leeway.

(3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives?
Perfectly clear.

(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
The campaign introduction is clear, setting the location (the Green Isle), the trigger for the whole story (war!) and the main characters (in this first scenario). Also, the writing in the campaign as a whole is solid, particularly in the first few scenarios.

(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?
Deciding how to split the forces north and south. I think if I try this again, I would ignore the villages to the north for the most part.

(6) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
7/10. Solid first scenario plotwise, gameplay-wise also quite standard.

(7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
None.

(8) Was there any event that caused you to lose the game and forced you to reload or restart the scenario?
No.

1) 1.16.5 Intermediate. Actually I tried it on hard in version 1.14 and didn't go farther than the second scenario, so I tried the new version in intermediate mode (I wanted to see the storyline and get less frustrated by having to save-reload obsessively).

(2) 4 - Once you learn to retreat/defend at night it's quite easy

(3) Clear

(4) Correct. A bit unimaginative though.

(5) Being reckless in pursuing the enemy, even at night.

(6) 5 - very average

(7) Hint that we will lose Eldaric so that it's not very useful to make him level up.
Also, not specifically in this scenario but in the whole campaign, there are nearly no magic item and very little loyal units, that's a bit of fun that is lost here.
Loyals can be unbalancing but cool (not overpowered) magic items are always good.
