Screen resolution problem
For some reason I can't put the game to my native resolution, 1280x800, I tried in full screen an in windowed mode, in this second mode I can choose between more than just one resolutions, like 5, but just wired ones but not my native one.
I tried also to change the configuration file putting my resolution, but it had no effect.
Any idea how I can set the game to display in 1288x800 ?

Re: Screen resolution problem
There is a commandline option for the resolution. You can try starting wesnoth with:
Depends on your OS on how exactly to do that.
It would also be interesting to see if any errors get logged since I would have expected editing the preferences file to have worked.
Code: Select all
wesnoth -r 1280x800

Re: Screen resolution problem
Ok, I write this in case someone else has resolution problems, so they can try this.
After trying a lot of things included the suggestions from this forum, to no avail, finally I solved the problem.
Windows decided "nicely" to put the size settings to 125% (size at which apps and texts are displayed), this had no effect on the other games that I usually play, but messed up BFW.
After putting it to 100% everything was fine.
(In Win 10 Just go to Options > System> Display > Scale And Layout)
