Crash starting A Tale of Two Brothers campaign

Post by mabeenot »

Version 1.14.0 (f5fd48d-Clean) installed through Steam
Running on Windows 10 (10.0.16299)

When starting a new campaign, choosing A Tale of Two Brothers, and selecting the Horseman (Beginner) difficulty, my game crashes to the desktop with no error message. Oddly, it seems to only affect that difficulty level. Knight (Challenging) loads the opening story cinematic and heads into the first map without any issues.

That log file is short enough, including it directly too.

Does going into Preferences → Cache and choosing Purge make a difference?

That appears to have fixed it. Thanks!
