1.12.6 Add-On Issue: Remote host disconnected

So I recently started playing BoW and learned about Add-ons so i wanted to try downloading some but every time i try to connect to the add-on server it says "Remote Host Disconnected"

The 1.12 add-on server is currently down, see here: http://status.wesnoth.org/. You can still download add-ons here: https://addons.wesnoth.org/1.12/. You'll have to unzip the data and put it into your userdata folder that you've specified during the installation.
