Sorry if this is totally like the dumbest question ever but i just downloaded Wesnoth 1.8.4 and I'm just wondering how on earth your supposed to actually run the game.
I can't find a ".exe" file anywhere.
Please help. I'd like to play the game.

Question: did you download the source code or the windows package? I suspect you downloaded the source code, in which you'd have to compile it in order to play.

Yeah. You need to download the install package. Run the downloaded file to install the game, then go to the files and there will be a wesnoth.exe that you use to start the game.
