Lobby scrolls back to the top every time I hear a ding noise
The lobby scrolls back to the top every time I hear that ding noise, which is every second or two. It makes it impossible to select a game room. I am running the current Ubuntu 10.04 and I installed it from the ubuntu repository. Is this a new feature? Is there a way to turn it off? I have also noticed the lobby to be a bit laggy as well.

To anyone who can't update to 1.8.1 yet (like me):
if you don't want the lobby to scroll back up just click a game, then navigate with arrow keys, the marked game will be the last in list and this way the lobby doesn't scroll back

Not if you continue to use the new lobby. Which I wanted to do so that I can help fix bugs; but which I won’t do, because this bug is still there and a tad too annoying for me…Pentarctagon wrote:this has been fixed in 1.8.1

yes, in fact the new lobby apparently has the same problems as in 1.8; it crashes with <0 size bug when filtered and refreshes to the selected game every couple secondsozean wrote:Not if you continue to use the new lobby. also the out of sync problems seems to be even worse with the new version, ?especially with northerners? has there been any changes that could cause incompatibility between versions?
