I don't see anything in the lobby

Post by Fosprey »

After a while, i never had problems before, i decided to download and install wesnoth.
Everthing goes fine unitl i decide to connect to the official servers. It connects and all, it even ask for my username and password.
But i don't see anygame or person in the lobby, if i keep waiting, after around 5 minutes it says"client disconnected"
i don't use firewall, i tried several routers.
here is the copy of the file that's asked on the sticky after running in debug mode http://www.pastebin.ca/1412473

I have Windows XP SP3 2 giga of ram, use an intel dual and an asus motherboard.
Any idea?

Well, sounds like you got a bad connection to the server. There is nothing about a connection try at all in your paste, btw. You need to use stderr.txt from after a session where you encountered your problem. Unlikely that there is anything to do about it anyway though.

Looks like it's working fine until you receive [join_lobby] which means you get the complete games and users list. Then your connection craps out, presumably because the connection is quite bad and can't handle that much data or whatever.

It's the same from the server side: successful login then log off a while later.

EDIT: Also I get ~90% packetloss when pinging you from the server which is your problem right there.
