Do some AI in some scenarios meant to work in a certain way that droid 1 may not do?

No, it shouldn't depend on the scenario (I'm not sure, it might work only during side 1's turn from the controlling client). In what situations are you facing a problem?

In MP, the host can kick a player and then set him to AI, I think droid only works for a side you control.

I wanted to finish a survival scenario save by myself. But I accidently set AI to myself. Its no good for me to control the attacking forces :p I was just wondering if I use that droid command whether any ai script or behavior designed for the scenario would work like normal.

The first sentence seems to contradict the second one.

Or do you mean to use the droid command you first must gain control of that side but when someone drops/kicked that auto pop up menu about who to control can set AI?(the second part I knew)
