Client Disconnected

with the latest 3.1.1 built i seem to have a connection problem.

when i join the lobby it will pop up with a "Client Disconnected",
sometimes it let me stay in the lobby a few minutes, but as soon as i click a game, and the load box pops up, i get the error as well, and get thrown to game menu screen.

also, at least one other had this problem. but my linux friend didn't, i run windows xp s2. fully updated.

edit: this also seems to happen on mac.

Ditto. Since 1.3.11 I have not been able to connect to the server, Client Disconnected. Windows XP.

It works fine for me on 1.3.11.

Someone please test with this binary: http://www.exong.net/builds/wesnoth-11- ... r21848.exe and see whether it has the same issues. Just replace the binary from the official release with it. You may also need some different dlls that can be found there: http://www.exong.net/builds/

Works fine with 1.3.11+svn (revision 21901).

Someone please test with this binary:

I got the .exe and the .dlls. When I join the official server BFW now crashes with an error report, instead of the client disconnect.

Ok we narrowed the issue down a bit this build should work normally:

(besides the known issues like switching translations doesn't work)
As mentioned before you probably need some different dll files which you can find here: http://www.exong.net/builds/wesnoth-dlls.exe

okay, the r21754 .exe works for me. I haven't actually played a game with it yet, but i can join the server and see other peoples games.
