EDITED: sorry, just noticed that this 99% issue was extremely well documented(of course AFTER I posted this).

First off before I report the problem I'm having, just wanted to let all the developers of TBFW know that this game really rocks. I was a huge Master of Monsters fan(especially the old Sega version) and this has taken the basic principles of that hex based strategy game to new heights. Even on just medium difficulty the AI is very clever and a challenge to beat. No two scenarios play the same at all. Very impressed.

Now to the issue at hand. I cannot download ANY of the add ons. I am able to get to the page displaying all of the available add ons/campaigns, start the download, and until the download status gets to 99%, everything appears fine. But at 99% the application completely freezes and shows a status of 'Not Responding' in the Windows Task Manager.

I have tried numerous downloads from the Add Ons page of varying sizes, from Ye Newe Melodies, Oblivion Era, Northern Rebirth, etc. They all freeze up at 99% dowloaded.

I am currently running Wesnoth v 1.2.6 and have encountered NO issues or errors playing the preloaded scenarios in that version. My system is Microsoft XP Professional, Version Sol.2600, Service Pack 2, Build 2600. I have plenty of available disk space(60 GhZ+) and have never had problems downloading from any other site.

I have McAfee virus protection, but did allow the applicable access to the site to download the add ons. There should be no firewall issue either.

When I check stderr after the download fails(forcing me to CTL+ALT+DEL out of the game screen, it shows the following:

Maybe it just takes very very long to complete?
The last percent is the hardest as all processing is done there.

Try leaving wesnoth up and do something else in the meantime.
CPU load should be high
