Because I'm getting these nice big black screens before each scenario in HTTT, with the name of the scenario up top, and "next" and "skip" buttons.
I seem to remember there used to be a world map with a little dotted line tracing Konrad's path back in older versions, and I'm wondering if that's supposed to be on these black screens. This is in version 1.1.7.

This is a new one to me. It works ok for me, and I haven't heard this come up before. I have no clue why the images wouldn't show up unless they aren't there for some reason or the campaign configs were changed somehow. Let's start off with your OS and how you obtained your copy of the game. Then I guess we can make sure the files are there where they're supposed to be. Do you see the dots or are they missing too?neroden wrote:Because I'm getting these nice big black screens before each scenario in HTTT, with the name of the scenario up top, and "next" and "skip" buttons.

Is debian the one where the game is split into 7 or 8 separate packages? Do you have them all installed?Frank wrote:It also happens here. I use the debian 1.1.7 packages.
I don't see the map or the dots.

bug is in the debian packages
The bug is in the debian packages : they are missing wesnoth-httt.jpg. I submitted a bug report there.
Ok, good. Neroden, is that your situation too? The file you need is ./wesnoth/images/maps/wesnoth-httt.jpg
Edit: here's where you get it
