use sdl_image.dll and zlib1.dll from the wesnoth 1.1.2a installation and copy them into 1.1.3 = the game will start now, but it is very slow.

The package seems fairly incomplete. The standard error output says stis:

The directories mentioned (misc, maps, buttons) are not present at all. I would blame the install script that "forgot" to create them. And since there is no install.log, I can't know for sure. I'm gonna wait for the corrected release (since my linux disk was fried last week).

INSTALLATION PROBLEMS OF WESNOTH V1.1.3

Post by bluffmasterd »

This for everyone that if your wesnoth v1.1.3 is not installing then I can fix it.
What u need to do is to copy all the dll files from previous version of Wesnoth and paste it where your latest version of wesnoth is installed ie. v1.1.3.GO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I m dead sure it will work and if it doesnt work then there is some thing troubling your computer.
