Is there a lore explanation for them having only negative traits you would prefer?
"smaller and weaker" covers it as well as a unit description needs to, I think.

You have multiplayer in which naga are a part of the northerners faction and you have the campaigns in which they often times are not. Since the unit help is accessible from either game mode it needs to work for both.

So the wolf rider flavor text should not explicitly mention naga and at the same time it should not say anything to imply naga are not part of the same faction. The former would be confusing in campaigns and the later in multiplayer.

What we should be, however, is consistent. If we want to portray all the races as equal, then I think the MP factions should be changed to reflect this.

Perhaps:
+1 for Rebels --> "Sylvans"
Loyalists --> "Kingdom of Wesnoth"
Northeners --> "Orcish Hordes"

Maybe we should take a look at "Drakes" again as well to include saurians? Could be as simple as "Drakes and Saurians" or something more flavourful..
I agree with changing Rebels to Sylvans, Northerners to Orcish Hordes. Loyalists is good name, no need to change it, same with Drakes

Sir, this is a Wendys six year old thread.
Maintainer of the Imperial Era and the campaigns Dreams of Urduk, Epic of Vaniyera, Up from Slavery, Fall of Silvium, Alfhelm the Wise and Gali's Contract.
But perhaps 'maintainer' is too strong a word.
