Rise Of Wesnoth - The Story

Post by Zigg »

See title for what this is about.

Chapter One

The Green Isle was home to many allied Kingdoms of Men, who we shall call Isle-folk, and the Wesfolk, bandits and skeletons led by powerful Lich Lords. A Large War was waged, ending in the defeat or petrifying of many Lich-Lords and retreat of the Wesfolk. From this war the Isle-folk learned of Magic, and delved into it's secrets. Magical Bolts, Balls of Fire, Beams of Light, Healing, Teleportation - The ways Magic could be used on the Battlefield were various and deadly. But, that is not a part of our story for now... However, the discovery of a far of land in the east, is very important. The Prince Of Southbay himself discovered it, in a sea full of storms, monsters and gigantic rocks. Now when the Prince got back his brother felt like whacking Wesfolk, so his brother amassed an army and invaded Wesfolk Lands.

To be continued...

As far as I can tell, this is a shorter (and sillier in tone/style) rewrite of the Rise of Wesnoth campaign intro, with at least two serious factual errors (the new continent was to the East, and the Prince who found it was not the same as the one who went to war with the Wesfolk, but rather his brother).

What it will turn into I can't say without more information. Are you going to rewrite the entire story of Rise of Wesnoth here?
"One man alone cannot fight the future"-
The X-files

"Send these foul beasts into the abyss"-Gandalf

Zigg... are you making a serious attempt at writing? Sorry, but this reads more like an attempt to say that you don't like the plot of TRoW. (Of course, you got a bunch of it wrong, so...)
