SyntaxWML: variables and values, oh my!

I'm sure there's a lot of parts of the wiki that could use help, but I think this one takes the cake:
the wiki wrote:$variable-name a variable value depends on the value of the WML variable variable-name. See VariablesWML for more information on WML-variable based values.
:hmm: I'm not really sure what this means!

Probably could use some better choice of words.

Probably. Also you could just read the next couple of words and follow up on them.
