EI - Drowned Plains

This is the level with the skeledragon. I was just wondering how do you reliably trap the dragon? I can't hold it long enough to kill it. When I start the level the only L3's I have are Gweddry and Dacyn. Also, what's the point of making the map so huge with a lot of space on the left, i mean what's there anyway?

Well I was able to figure it out myself. cavalry had enough mp to allow me to flank it.
