You can search the forum for a naga sprite (female caster). It has all the frames and has good enough quality to be with the new nagas. (tought the sprite is boring because is a naked naga).

Its free to use, it just need a home.

Link for the frames --> http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 1&start=30

I could use the naga if im allowed to, not wanting a naga scenario in my campaign to be pure battle against fighters. Maybe as a sort of shaman/druid or mage with cold attacks. Thank you for posting it. :D

hey, of course i already did that :D

for level 2+3 caster ( i also need higher lvl nagas) i just copied the heads of the lvl2 and lvl3 base nagas over it (and enlarged it slightly, and as well added some body armor (and i made the staff bigger) ... im not completely satisfied (as it looks a bit cheap with all nages have the same heads for example)

for SX its ok to have only base frames, so i would be of course more then glad to use yor lvl2 and 3's if you make some

i may post a graphis sheet with what i have for somebody who want to see them

feel free to add more and/or improve them, i just needed some basic weapontypes and an archer (assassin (also has a net)) and mage, and thats what i could make with my very limited "skills"

btwi accidently changed the assasins gfx (first picture with some balck in it, normally the sprite has a green arm of coruse ;))

Nagas are fun, but I like merfolk. You have to think very differently when using them because former barriers are your roads, and former roads are now complete barriers.

There utbs campaign has a lvl 1 naga archer with no lvl 2 or three. Also I prefere merfolk for there verity, although I don't know why the mermaids are naked.

Have you ever tried swimming with your clothes still on?

Yes, I don't swim naked in the pool.

There's a difference between swimming with your clothes on, and swimming with a swimsuit.

Also consider that swimsuits are a fairly recent invention - it's possible that the Wesnothians did not have such technology.

All I'm saying is, I don't know why they decided to draw them without a seashell braw or somthing.

For the same reason they drew the "old" female Arch Mages as young and with one of their legs bare?
I don't know the reason myself I'm saying it's not unique to the mermaids.

Keep in mind that the portraits were drawn after the units themselves, so you can't really blame the unit designers for any differences between units and portraits.
