Prefs folder?

Post by DoctorJ »

So just where are the prefs/savefiles to be found on a Mac? I checked the obvious places [home directory, Wesnoth directory, /Library/Application support] but don't see anything. I tried "locate Bay of Pearls", but that turned up only the config files. Anyway, there are 2 computers here, i want to be able to transfer the savefiles to whichever computer is open...

On non-Windows they should be in '~/.wesnoth/'.

I don't believe they are there in OSX.

But...I don't know where they are in OSX :)

On Mac OS X they're located at (take a deep breath):

(Computer name)>(HD Name)>Users>(User Home Folder)>Library>Preferences>Wesnoth

Or for the lazy: (User Home Folder)>Library>Preferences>Wesnoth

why would the words "Bay of Pearls" be in your preferences folder anyway?

If you change to windowed mode, there is menu to open the various wesnoth-folders.
