The Lost General - I'm puzzled....

Post by mr_moose »

Hi all...

I'm doing the "Lost General" level in "HTTT" but one thing puzzles me. When Lionel dies, he says that the Sceptre of Fire is *east* of his keep. But the map doesn't go there! I've gone back to Konrad's original keep (the one that he starts on) and there seems to be *no way east* from there... It looks like north or west are the only options.

The caverns only seem to lead north (and then west) so I'm not wanting to keep going that way if it's just a wild goose chase.

Have I missed something? Was Lionel lying? If he wasn't, how do I actually go east in this scenario - do the caverns (after heading north and west) turn to the east?

Many thanks for any replies on this... :-)

It's not a suggestion for where to explore on the map to find the sceptre, it's a plot point - instructions telling the character Konrad to travel east in between this scenario and the next one (in which you will have to actually find the sceptre).

You can safely ignore it.

Ahhhhhhhh..... all becomes clear.... :-)

Thanks very much for your reply, Turin! That "east" thing had me puzzled - not surprisingly, I assumed (wrongly) that it applied to the current scenario...
Thanks again - bye for now -
