uhm, basically Scott is concerned that the style of Xandar's portraits would clash with the style of the ones we currently have. Admittedly, her coloring method is a bit ... flat, by comparison, but then we've only seen one of her images colored, in the current style she's working in.Zhukov wrote:scott wrote:Style... Style... Style... Style...
Am I missing something here? I have no idea what that was about...
I was just saying that I'm now confident that I'm good enough at cleanly hacking people's images to solve the problem. Ironically, it's actually not that hard; besides lack of skill at drawing, the greatest thing that inhibits most people from doing this is simply ... being afraid of messing it up.
Part of me dies every time someone says this. Actually waitaminute, you're the only guy who does. =PCuyo Quiz wrote:All the roads go to Jetryl, indeed.

Awesome you mean ! I can’t wait to see the coloured versions.wayfarer wrote:Hey very nice.
As for style I suppose Xandar can adapt her style to the Wesnoth line.
In the beginning (early Heroic Fantasy / R.E.Howard era) most (if not all) readers were male.Zhukov wrote: It seems to be a trend for women in fantasy to wear as little as possible. No idea why.
As for people going to war almost nude there are many historical examples : Celtic warriors among them.
Men though. And mainly because people didnt really start to wear underwear until making cloth from cotton started being cheap.taz wrote:As for people going to war almost nude there are many historical examples : Celtic warriors among them.
Even as the fingers of the two hands are equal, so are human beings equal to one another. No one has any right, nor any preference to claim over another. You are brothers. - Muhammed
One more request. I am also on the lookout for any type of art that would compliment the campaign, battle scenes, landsapes - whatever. If anyone has anything that they think would compliment this campaign, or even anything that relates to the northlands, just send it to me and i'll see if I can include it in the campaign. In particualr I am on the lookout for landscapes - moutains, lakes, glaciers, caves or anything else that might look like the Northlands.
Creater of the campaign, "Northern Rebirth"
Compleater of the campaign, "Son of the Black Eye"

How about this: they wear as little as possible so they can look, "sexy". God help them though if it gets cold or someone decides to put an arrow through their perfactally tonned abbs.
I am ia agreement with taurus. Wesnoth players can handle a little bit of skin... Cant they?
Screw it... I can go without a sig.

*these are excellent (and I am extremely jealous), and though I understand the controversy over those two, they still rock!!!
*wish I could draw a tenth that well, and I'd be better than I am
* :more praises until I start mumbling: really excellent!
EDIT:about the controversy--good thing I sided conservative when drawing that druid, I suppose.

...please remember that "IT'S" ALWAYS MEANS "IT IS" and "ITS" IS WHAT YOU USE TO INDICATE POSSESSION BY "IT".--scott

Here's my sketch of Hamel
There's not much detail, but I want to know if this is what you (Taurus) is looking for before I go on with adding details, inking, coloring and shading.
Explicit note: I'm generally not interested in critique for this.
