here is another male centaur line.

Centaur Patrol (lv1), Centaur Chaser (lv2), Centaur Retriever (lv3)

As far as I remember:
all the horse parts are taken from Feniks Era by maksiu

Centaur Warden (lv1), Centaur Javeliniere (lv2), Centaur Spearmaid (lv3)

As far as I remember:
the heads were taken from Aragwaithi from EoC by wayfarer/bumbadabum

here is the archer line for the centaurs

Centaur Archer (lv1), Centaur Huntress (lv2), Centaur Ranger (lv3)

As far as I remember:
the heads and some armor parts were taken from Aragwaithi from EoC by wayfarer/bumbadabum

I think the lvl3 looks a bit too similar to the lvl2. otherwise looks pretty nice.

yes this is defiantly one of the smallest centaur sprites in the era. i will fix that upon release.

thanks alot, yes i like them too. only problem is that they all share the very same shadow image its just resized accordingly. I might fix that before release too

here is the healer line. note she has first-aid-kits/backpacks on her sides.

I think you might have misunderstood what I said. what I meant to say that it would be a good idea to make the lvl3 look fancier, so she's better distinguishable from the lvl2 variant.

looks nice. however, it would be good if the lvl3 had a hood (to differentiate better between lvl2 and lvl3), and lvl2 looked a bit fancier (to differ).

So are all of these units going to be scouts and have high amounts of MP? I think that they may get over powered if all of them have over 7 MP...

To me I would suggest that the based MP would be about 6. reason non-scout units have to be rested for battle and body plan +armor/weapons makes them front end heavy. Thus non-scout units having to be slower so they don't kill themselves by tripping.

Balancing is thehardest part of faction design, especially if you do uncenventional factions like full skeletons or full centaur factions. I was paying attention to that and I was lucky to have IPS consulting me on balancing. For instance my centaur mostly use only pierce atacks, which happen to be there vulnability too. Without arcane they would f*** against skels.
Same for Skels, a faction with is completly -50% arcane/-20% fire is hard to balance, but I found solutions to those problem... your welcome to try them when they are released in couple of weeks.

I think there is no centaur under 6 mp but yeah, key point of centaurs are their mobility, they can dominate maps really fast, but are not taking damage that well. at least they are skilled fighters.

nonetheless, here is a special centaur:

Just an idea, couldn't some of the centaur have trample attacks. That'll make them more useful against skeletons and the dune folk (Khalifate).

if you refer to trample attacks as in impact damage, there will be enough to not be useless against skeletons. for instance, all sprites which wear shield will actually be able to use the shield offensively, defensively or both with some new abilities i coded. then there is also the patrol line with the whips who deal different impact damages as well. finally, the pegasus line will have a weaker arcane attack for that exact matter.

Once they are released I might open a thread for the mp gameplay and balancing since i coded some cool new abilities too.

EDIT: If you refer to the deep elves trample special, then i have been considering that as well, but I was too lazy to change the codes after I remarked that this special might fit very well on my centaurs

2 more days and the new faction will be revealed. I'll also add some unit collection for the main page as I did for the skels.
