As far as I remember:
lv 1 Creep , I somewhere found a sheet with a skeletal snake somewhere on the forum, but cannot remember where..
lv 3 shoulder from Minotaur / Era of Strike (various artist)
lv 3 body + backwear from Ancient Lich by Sleepwalker
lv3 snake tail from WoTG (Author Unknown, although i am pretty sure that sprite originated from Sleepwalker too)

as promised here is something nice, which i will continue with the following posts: #13 here.
say hello to seleton cropse. he is one of the non-recruitable core units of this faction since my horned skeletons are a hybrid swarm faction.
u can get him only via plague, but he has 3 advancements

Skeleton Corpse (lv0), Skeleton Corpse Fighter (lv1), Skeleton Corpse Mage (lv1), Skeleton Corpse Archer (lv1)

As far as I remember:
lv0 corpse is not mine. he is from RE Undead by Vyncyn
lv1 armor set most of them are from burned lich by Vyncyn too.
- severed head is from Vilkai by Bitron

here is the first if the 3 advancement line for the skel corpse, probably my favorite line.
he is cutting of enemies heads/skulls and throwing them around.

Skeleton Corpse (lv0), Corpse Fighter (lv1), Corpse Amputator (lv2), Corpse Eliminator (lv3)


As far as I remember:
lv0 corpse is not mine. he is from RE Undead by Vyncyn
- armor set most of them are from burned lich by Vyncyn too.
- severed head is from Vilkai by Bitron

here is the second advancement to the corpse.
the lv3 inferno corpse is probably my favorite sprite in the entire faction.


Skeleton Corpse (lv0), Corpse Mage (lv1), Corpse Burner (lv2), Skeleton Corpse Inferno (lv3)

As far as I remember:
lv0 corpse is not mine. he is from RE Undead by Vyncyn
lv1 armor set most of them are from burned lich by Vyncyn too.
lv 2 sprite is entirely from Vyncyn too. I onyl made the lv 1 and the lv 3

This is the last line for the the skeleton factions. I planned to make some more advancements here and there, but that wont happen any time soon.

#18 -concludes all the previous posts as being the last one for presenting you my skeleton factions.

here most of the weapon portraits used in this faction. non of them are from scratch but they all are edited to serve my purpose.
as might saw the sprites have bloody weapons so i tried to do the same with the weapon portraits.

Always missed the gore in wesnoth ;D

Note: next post will reveil my 2nd faction

small note about the icons: it would be more realistic if the blood was present around the sharp ends (the lack of this is pretty apparent in your edits of fangs, where the blood should be dripping from the teeth instead of oddly covering the throat. this issue is also present in the axe/glaive/halberd-type weapon icons of yours). otherwise, great job! :)

yes, now that you said, and now that look all at them at one place, something feels off. also the color palette doesn't fit all the time. I added it to my to-do list.


also I revamped the start page showing what was and what will come, giving the skeletons their background story they deserve and showing some screenshots of them in action.

here are the Ild Centaurs. my gaol was to get full centaur/playable faction and them to be somewhat precised on how centaurs would actually look like or fight. so here they are.
Note for Credit: As body for the male centaurs, I used a sprite from some era by some author which unfortunately neither of the names I remember. But will continue to give credit as good as I can (or remember).

Centaur Fighter (lv1), Centaur Warrior (lv2), Centaur Elite (lv3)

As far as I remember:
- see Note for Credit...
- lv2/3 back armor are edited versions from Ukian /archiac era by doofus.
- lv 3 was completly taken from that author. all I did was recoloring its armor, editing the sword, adding a shield and back armor.
EDIT: as is tart to think about it, i cannot clearly tell what exactly is mine in this line and what not. but i know i worked somewhat on it.

these look great! However, the lvl1 looks a bit too much like a lvl0. I'd suggest increasing the size of his horse part (for reference, look at the current horseman/elvish scout line units to see what a decent horse size is for bfw sprites nowadays). Also, for smoother unit line progression, I'd suggest either giving the lvl1 a wooden buckler (to match the fact that lvl2/lvl3 have shields) or make the lvl2's shield a bit less fancy.

I found out where those sprites came from, it was called Feniks Era on 1.12.6 but it doesnt to be on the server anymore.
And it also appears that the previous line was only a bit edited. Shield/Sword added, recolored. armor placed thats kinda stuff.

Here is the 2nd advancement:

Centaur Fighter (lv1), Centaur Spear Fighter (lv2), Centaur Captian (lv3)

nice! :) small suggestion, though: I think it would be nice if the line had spartan-like helmets (not covering the face up) to distinguish from the other advancement branch.
