Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
I like it. I am wondering if you can put these on a map and post the image so we can see how they'll look on screen.

Awesome again. Broken TC again. There would be room between the levels. Essentially this could be level 0 1 2 3 4 wth the ones you have beeing 0 2 4. Keep it up. Loose the grey background.
There are 2 little programs wesnoth-rcx and wesnoth-tc which help tremendously with tc checking.

I made a screenshot of ogres "in game". There were some problems with the vehicle (I removed them separately), but overall it looks pretty good. What do you think?

Pretty good. I would adjust the shadows a bit, as it looks like they're floating at the moment. Moving the shadow up by a few pixles should fix that
Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Got the knife reference! Here's what I've just drawn up:
Like how the skeleton archer's knife is. So the icon for Nara's knife may look... somewhat like this? What do you think?
I've been looking at the mainline dagger images, and most of them seem to have the cutting side facing the left of the icon box.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Hi Shield:
The knife itself looks great. Please flip it so it is the opposite of the mainline daggers. As well, if there's a way to show that there are two of them, as Nara always uses a dual knife attack, that would be great.
Thanks

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Hi Mechanical:
I agree that they look pretty good. I'm very happy with the overall look of the ogres. The level 3 units are definitely too big, but that can be attenuated later. This is good enough for now, as far as seeing what they look like on the map. Later, we can compare them with other mainline units on the map to see how well they integrate. I should mention that I know nothing about TC, and as I'm not handling the visual presentation of these units I don't know what needs to be done there.
Thanks

Dwarves don't look like they stand much of a chance.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
But that's okay? No? I would like to draw a fraction of the huge, mighty ogres, giants. And yes, this is my sketch berserk: most likely, he will go to the folder with the non-use of sprites.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
If you're referring to the ogre fist fighter, I'd like to see a more finished version before I comment.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Alrighty, it's flipped.
I tried two slightly different ways, the latter pointing more upwards and exposing more of the handle. As for an icon with two knives-- I'm personally not sure how necessary it would be if her sprite clearly features both knives, but I edited these: Just a copy-paste and resize of the foreground knife for now, but I'm more testing how much of the second blade should be shown, how large it is, and what angle it should point at.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Less handle will probably render a better image. Try bringing the two knives a bit closer together. You may be right about not needing to have them both in the image. The single knife image looks pretty good and will likely be sufficient as her sprite does clearly show her holding two knives and her unit description will have info on the twin knives and their magical nature.

Re: TAS2: The World Seed - Art Dev
Hello Faelord. Finally I dorisoval ogre fist-fighter (which we probably will not use it) and the ogre berserker lvl 2. This version will still be refined. I want to hear your opinion.
