Hi,

Are the units without a grey square just placeholders?
Bad Moon Rising(BfW 1.12 supported, but new work in BfW 1.13 only) | Trinity(BfW 1.12 only) | Archaic Era(BfW 1.12 & 1.13) | Tales of the Setting Sun(On Hold/Abandoned)

I edit most of them to get an idea of how they (maybe) could look like, but yes they are placeholder in the first place.

Here are some new scratches.

Spoiler:

they will get finished, and there will be more soon. (:

Unfortunately, I have not much time to do the spritework, and by now, I have nobody else who can help me with that. If somebody is likely to do the Sprites I'm happy to introduce him/her into our projects. (:

All the best!

Hello.
Sadly I have too many turnips in my kettle at present to help you with sprites (that and the fact that mine aren't so good).
But a comment on the portraits. Can I ask a special favor? in your campaign, please don't "Wesnothify" those images too much. I think that as long as your style is consistent and your technique reasonably good, units/portraits drawn in another style really lend flavor to Wesnoth UMCs, the only problems come in when people start mixing their own portrait style with the canonical portraits or their own sprite style with the canonical sprites. Having vanilla Wesnoth Sprites and your own flavor of portrait or vice versa is not only fine, it is great.

I think you draw well and your pixel art is not bad at all, but I wouldn't have really noticed it if I hadn't seen your drawings and would like to suggest that you use these as the basis of your portraits.
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

In case of the Vilkai and the Campaigns wich will come along with the faction, I represent a team of by now 3 Persons. We are "Alresu", the dialoque-Guy, "Lieferheld" the art-guy (who's also drawing the scratches) and me, the programming-guy (and I maintain the Threads).

So, thanks for the feedback, I'll hand it off to the Artist (:

Well, the actual pixelart is done by me (the 9 selfmade ones), but after i saw the Portraits, wich were done after i made the Sprites, I definitely wwould like to redraw them with the portraits/scatches as basis for the sprites. .. well.. if I find some time for drawing them. But still, it would be great to have some support with the sprites, especially with animation .. this is something i totally lost with.

They look good. Very consistent theme and well readable sprites (probably not easy with the deer riders). Surprised to see the guard is a left handed person, but with all the sprite flipping going on it does not matter.

I would consider brightening up the sabre blades somewhat, especially on the swordsman.
I am a Saurian Skirmisher: I'm a real pest, especially at night.

Hey, these are surprisingly good. I like the consistent style. Good work! Keep it up

Playing Wesnoth since 2010, still there is so much left to play

Thanks to both of you!

I will redraw the Guard soon, I don't really like it. ^^
I'm Trying to complete the Fighter atvantancements first. What do you think of the Level 3 Warrior?

Actually, I there is some Frankenstein-work in those sprites, but luckily it is not that obvious. ^^
The deer e.g comes from the new Rashy Era. (:

The Fighter and Archers could use a bit more teamcolour and the swords a sharper edge, like tatap mentioned, otherwise they look pretty nice.

New Sprites for the Healer. The Alchemist will get huge changes in the next version. Actually it will no longer be an alchemist...
But they still need weapons... mnh...
