Ogre/Cyclope/Horned-Giant Sprite
Made an Ogre sprite for Wesnoth and possible other games.
Based of http://opengameart.org/content/cyclops-monster-2d which is GPL, so you can safely use it with your addons.
Improvements are welcome.

There's a very straight diagonal line marking the lower outline of his right arm and hand, looks unnatural for an organic shape.
Tiedäthän kuinka pelataan.
Tiedäthän, vihtahousua vastaan.
Tiedäthän, solmu kravatin, se kantaa niin synnit
kuin syntien tekijätkin.

Thanks. Here is a slightly fixed version. I guess the anatomy can be future improved.Sgt. Groovy wrote:There's a very straight diagonal line marking the lower outline of his right arm and hand, looks unnatural for an organic shape.

Отличная работа, построение выполнено очень хорошо) Но по моему, ему не хватает прорисовки

Basically the sprite and partly the animation looks good. I got only one major problem: the movement of the arms looks unnatural, you should draw a movement with a fixed shoulder and a moving arm. Otherwise it looks like he can separate his arm from his body.

Sorry, but I'm Ukrainian and don't speak russian. Besides, it is very rude to speak one's native tongue on the international site.z5x1 wrote:Отличная работа, построение выполнено очень хорошо) Но по моему, ему не хватает прорисовки
You're welcome to continue the work. I'm not that good at animation.Elvish_King wrote:Basically the sprite and partly the animation looks good. Besides, I've commissioned a similar ogre sprite to a professional artist, who did order of magnitude better job than me
I won't be donating the new ogre to Wesnoth, because it comes under different license and would be used in my upcoming indie project, which is a turn-based game strategy, having little to do with Wesnoth. In fact it is opposite in design to Wesnoth's philosophy: it doesn't use random numbers and is very heavy on magic, so a few good spells can turn you 1st-tier goblin into a raging dragon.

I think it's okay to use your native language, but you should also repeat your comment in English.Nikita_Sadkov wrote: it is very rude to speak one's native tongue on the international site.
