What do you think about my Nature Mage (an advanced herbalist)? I also added a Torchdancer.

Herbalist looks beautiful, though maybe for static display image that halo is too large. Might be better with standing animation where just halo size changes.
Fire mage looks more like close combat fighter with these torches. Yellow is very nice. Hood looks strange here, but should be better with actual team colors.
Hermit looks like decent plain unit, just as its possible story. However I think staffs shadow is too large.

Hello, I started making sprites after a monthly break. So this is a Missionary.
(Because I had had some shading problems, I made several versions).

Re: pe_em's art for the Era of the Ancient Empires
1) Don't use pure black outlines. Try to use dark colors of the element that is outline. I mean for hand use skin color, for book use the book color and for robe use the robe color in dark tone to make the outlines.
2) Avoid "thick pixels" on outlines. I hope the picture attached helps to point out what I mean. Instead of having pixels connected with additional pixel they should usually be connected on their corners. But not always. For example, for the book I would use sharp corners.
Unfortunately for doing the texture I cannot help, since I'm really bad making those myself.

Your Polar Bear just crush me
You are making nice progress.
I can't wait to see more of your art.
Last thing, can you make steampunk arts?
