Epic Wesnoth

Hello, this is my first post. Hope you like the idea. I apologize if anyone else tried it before. I have been reading the forum for several days and did not find anything.
I'm doing a review of all the art of the game with the intention of making larger armies. The main cacacteres would remain the same, but the units would become more standard groups of soldiers with their own banners:

So far the result in the game is very colorful.
I will post more PNG's as I advance in this project.

Looks interesting. This might make a decent addon.

One thing to mention though, is that this would make the attack anims REALLY look weird.
Sorta on a break from the forums ATM, have been for a while. If I was doing something for/with you and I haven't recently, that's why, I will be back soon hopefully.

Someone named CMG did this a fairly long time ago. I can't remember the name of the add-on though.

If you're going to do this, I would suggest to tweak each individual in the group at least a bit, like changing the pose and coloring. It looks kinda silly to have a group five clones standing in exactly the same pose. Actually, I believe you *could* do that with code by multiplying the unit graphics on bit different positions and adding the banner as a halo.
