Powershot, why are you posting these images in blueknight1758's thread, when you have your own?
This unit here is meant to be a tribal hunter, I am quite happy with his appearence and he will be going in my 'apocylyptic' era. But before he does can someone tweak his right arm (not the spear arm) because I can't quite put my finger on how to fix it (I think it's to thin but i always make it too fat,)
Nice, but his clothes could use a bit more contrast(brighter lights and darker shadows).
My sprites,My Minitroops
Philip II of Macedon:"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors:"If."
Subsequently, both Philip and Alexander would avoid Sparta entirely.

The first Image you posted had a very similar head/face to the original.

I think you've got a great idea... It remind me of an old french RPG called "Bitume", witch take place in a Mad Max-like world (but in France :P )

For your leader, it's hard to figure what is the orange thing added to the spear... And he doesn't look more important or special than the tribal common member. Maybe you could give him a different weapon or a distinctive sign (cloak, helmet, pink underwear...)

Otherwise, it seems you fix the left arm problem, it look way better on the leader.

I like your magnum, but IMHO the assault rifle seems to big, it has to be seen in a unit's hands.

As Vranca suggested, you should use brighter lights on clothes in order to make them more "readable".
My writing frightens you? Consider you happy not to hear me :p

You know I could use my tribal guys and you could use yours. :D I'll try to change the head. Thanks for changing the tribal leader, he looks great! ^_^

Post2: Here is the changed version, I gave him a darker face because (since their tribal) they'd be in the sun.

Ok, I did a little something. I think it's a tribal mage. I was going to make a shaman but decided to do a mage instead. It is Frankensteined.

My suggestion...
After enough fights with hi-tech nations, wouldn't Tribals pickup some guns on their own?
Let's say, like making 3rd (or 2nd) level advancement of archer(?) with rifle?
Concept based on similar thing done with orcs in mainline (... idea's broken, since orcs are actually only race to use slurbows. But idea is, that ALL slurbows are looted.)

I took myself liberty of:
-removing and replacing leader's cape with TC-tinted one;
-making a gun and applying it instead of spear; (two versions of gun are in attack frame, they're just transparent)
So far it looks not too well I think, but it is just to demonstrate the idea.
